Welcome to the Preschool division of Mahatma Gandhi School, where every child’s journey begins with wonder, care, and purpose. Our early years program is designed to foster foundational skills, emotional growth, and a love for learning in a safe, inclusive environment.

We offer three distinct levels tailored to each stage of development:
Playgroup (PG)
Age Group: 2–3 years
Focus: Exploration, socialization, sensory play
– Gentle introduction to school routines
– Thematic learning through play
– Circle time, music, and movement
– Early language exposure (English & Bahasa Indonesia)
– Montessori-inspired activities
– Weekly art & craft and storytelling sessions
Schedule Highlights:
• 08:00 – Arrival & Thematic Play
• 08:50 – English (Reading & Listening)
• 09:30 – Recess
• 10:30 – Math & Creative Expression
• 11:10 – Dismissal
Kindergarten 1 (K1)
Age Group: 3–4 years
Focus: Language development, early numeracy, independence
– Structured academic blocks: English, Math, Bahasa Indonesia
– Introduction to Mandarin
– Flag ceremony and values education
– Music, PE, and computer sessions
– Library and storytelling to build imagination
Schedule Highlights:

• 08:50 – Bahasa Indonesia & Thematic Learning
• 09:30 – Recess
• 10:30 – Creative Arts & Dismissal
Kindergarten 2 (K2)
Age Group: 4–5 years
Focus: School readiness, leadership, critical thinking
– Advanced thematic learning and project work
– Dual-language instruction: English, Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin
– Circle time and collaborative activities
– PE, Music, Library, and Computer Lab
– Preparation for Grade 1 transition

We believe in strong collaboration with families. Regular PTMs, open houses, and orientation sessions ensure transparent communication and shared growth.
