At Mahatma Gandhi School, our Lower Secondary programme (Grades 7–9) is designed to nurture confident, responsible, innovative, and reflective learners. Aligned with the Cambridge Lower Secondary framework, this stage bridges primary education with the rigor of international qualifications, while reinforcing national values and cultural identity.

Each subject is taught with a focus on values, relevance, and real-world application. Students are encouraged to think critically, communicate effectively, and develop resilience in the face of academic and personal challenges.

Assessment & Reporting

Evaluation is continuous and multifaceted, including:
– Internal Assessments

– Mid-Term and Term Exams

The academic year is divided into two terms. Final grades are based on cumulative performance across both terms, with a minimum passing mark of 50%. Annual report cards reflect both achievement and growth.

Parent Partnership

We believe that education thrives through collaboration. Parents are invited to participate in orientation programmes, regular PTMs, and ongoing communication via school diaries and WhatsApp groups. Feedback is welcomed and appointments with school leadership can be scheduled through the receptionist.
